On Sunday 23rd
August the 4x4 club went to sheepskin hut. We met at Wilberforce and then
headed off on the drive. When we got to the property we met Keith and Fay
who lead us in to their campsite. When we arrived at their campsite at their
campsite we had some morning tea and then headed off to the aboriginal
caves.

We drove through all the long rocky paths which lead us to the caves. We
parked the cars and headed off on the bush walk. By the time we got half way
many people had left because of the stinging nettle plants. Many people got
spiked and were in lots of pain. When we got all the way to the caves the
aboriginal paintings were partly faded but you could still see some of them.
We took some photos of them, signed the guestbook and then went on the
bushwalk back

When we arrived
back we had some lunch and then drove to Sheepskin Hut. The drive was
fairly long and thank God when we got there we didn’t have to go on a long
bushwalk. The hut was interesting. It had a fireplace and some other tables
and things. You could tell it was old!

After we all
had our look inside it we had a cup of tea (or a hot chocolate) and headed
back home. As we were driving back down that rocky road it was starting to
get dark. When we were nearly at the gate we dropped of Fay and Keith so
they could go back to their campsite. After that we left the property and
all headed back home. We all had a great day and I enjoyed it.
