The weekend was a great success with some excellent driving being witnessed from all the competitors. Dave had opted to be Manager this year and proved to be a great asset to the team.....as well as being a great breakfast cook.

The team consisted of some new blood this year with Ben, James, Doug, George and Scott hopping in the navigator seat and Mark and Noel were new drivers this year. Ian and James have been competing for some time and together the whole team did a great job giving us some thrills to watch.

The weather was not the best on the Saturday and it was not too long before we were all saturated to the bone............even in our dry as a bones. Luckily around midday we had to get one of the drivers back to camp for some repair work, so I hitched a ride back and was able to change into some dry clothes and get a hot drink (the coffee van had not been able to make it down into the competition site due to the wet tracks)

Once again the Club provided the breakfast and evening meals over the three day weekend and everyone joined forces to get the food ready and on the tables. It was good to see the kids coming back for seconds and enjoying the veggies.

The weekend was a great success for everyone....no major car problems, no rollovers (thank God) and lots of laughs and camaraderie.

Thanks Charlie for all your support and contribution to the weekend helping the drivers and Team Manager Dave out. Also for your help with the meals etc ......It's good to see a new member take such an interest in supporting the Club.

Thanks Dave, our Team Manager extraordinaire, who did a great job in his usual laid back way.....It was all good!

Thanks to the drivers and navigators for their great driving, commitment and entertainment over the weekend. Also for showing courtesy to the officials at all times was appreciated by the Club.
